Now that I’m back.. after a long long frustrating journey home, I’d like to change gears for a moment and share a few vlogs capturing the beauty of the Portugal I know and love.
This one was filmed in Pero Moniz, Cadaval. My mother’s hometown, where my grandparents live and where I spent many many summers.
Well, it has taken me some time to finally release this videoblog… and beware it is very big (15 min. long).
My frisbee association in Amsterdam hosted this tournament last month… voila a videoblog of the fun.
Considering all the pain and sufferring in the world.. at this very moment. I present this vlog as one of the few examples these days of many nations and many cultures coming together peacefully thanks to a common bond – ultimate frisbee.
I’m not going to stop talking about this until some good news finally comes from that area. As you know, a few days ago Israel bombed Lebanon. They also imposed a sea and air blockade on the country. It was in response to the kidnapping of soldiers. Which was a response to something else.. and on and on. (like I said yesterday)
Here’s my RESPONSE.. and it doesn’t require any bombs or guns. Take notes governments around the world, I am unarmed and willing to negociate.
It’s Friday and Madge Weinstein the purple Lumox is here all weekend. So my post is a vlog I put together from unused Berlin footage. Nothing too ground breaking, but this was my most favorite day from my Berlin trip. I’m working on getting back there later this month in time for Christopher Street Day which I believe is the Gay Pride festival of the city. Sounds like great fun and hey – maybe I’ll meet the mayor. (in case you don’t know, mayor of Berlin is gay.. so is the mayor of Paris, come to think of it. Just two more reasons why Europe rocks!)
While in Berlin, Tim invited me to see Germany play…. from a former bath house in a very cool area. It was a very unique and truely Berlin experience.
