ctrp 314 What is Behind the Texas Secession Movement?

None of them were alive the last time Texas was located outside the borders of the US, but they’re demanding to go back to that status. They’re angry at the Obama administration, frustrated with the United States, and lately – they’ve managed to get a bit of national attention.  They are the Texans calling for secession from the United States, and Forrest Wilder of the Texas Observer has been looking into who they are, the issues they’re concerned with, and just how far they might get.

His blog Forrest for the Trees on the Texas Observer site

We mention the Texas National Movement

Forrest’s video of a recent demonstration

I believe most of the Texans see America folding up like the End of a bad Movie, She has People that have no Knowledge of the Paper that was the Guide to build a Supper power for all these years, it was the Power of the people that made it Strong ,not the Government, ….Plus we have Children we can’t have raised this way, they can’t watch the filth on TV, we have no respect in this country, Adults or Children towards others or God, we Let Spiritual Ignorant People remove God out of everything, and now God will let us Water the Corrupt Seeds we as a people of Vipers Planted .We have turned from him to embrace. this Lie the DC people or spurting out .. I Believe Many People in this state still see that God will be there to Bless America if he see’s a change in us…Or maybe Just Texas if the rest of this Country wants this Change they have Bought into…..God Bless

    Very interesting post.

The words of Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States of America, seem prophetic now: “The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form.”
