bm300 Scott Lockman and Podcasting Roots

April 15, 2009

In 2004 I heard my first podcast, it was called Tokyo Calling, hosted by Scott Lockman who brought the audience along with him during his monring commute through Tokyo. The program inspired me to start my own, using simple equipment and limited technical knowledge, it was the beginning of this podcast.  In honor of episode 300, Im glad to have Scott Lockman as my guest to talk about those days and why he started and how podcasting and his life evolved and changed since then

(note its a special 50min long program, and there is lots of looking back at how things used to be and where we are today in terms of personal publishing and social media)

Music:

  • Talib Kweli – Rush
  • Clash – English Civil War
