I would have been interested in Chris' views on the way FIFA, IOC etc. come into countries and subvert the local judicial systems or introduce new laws using the local government as surrogate. Examples are the FIFA "kangaroo courts" in SA and the so-called free-speech zones in Vancouver for the recent Winter Olympics. G20 are another organization that do this with, for example, the recent meeting in Toronto producing hundreds of arrests on spurious charges and a new secret "stop and search" law.
